LAMB, George - L-Obituaries

Funeral services for George Lamb, age 84, of Veedersburg Rt. 4, who died at 7 a.m. Thursday, July 7, at the Home Hospital in Lafayette, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica. Burial was in the Smith Cemetery at Boswell. Mr. Lamb was born Aug. 15, 1881, in Benton County. He retired from farming in 1956. He was married March 22, 1916, at Fowler to Laura Bell, who survives. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: four sons, C. J. Lamb of Hoopeston, Ill., Maurice of California, Paul of Watseka, Ill., and Robert, at home; and three daughters, Mrs. Joan Durham of Indianapolis and Mrs. Shirley Ann Joiner of Danville, Ill.  --Typed by Debby Masterson.
