Edwin Lambright, age 56, a graduate of the Covington Community High School and former local resident, died Tuesday, July 24, at the Homestead Air Force Base Hospital at Homestead, Fla. He was born Aug. 9, 1905 at Lees Creek, Ohio, the son of the late Dr. Simon and Winifred Sherman Lambright of Covington. He graduated from the local high school in 1923 and later from the Loyola University of the South School of Dentistry. He served in the Medical Corps of the U. S. Air Force for about 15 years and retired five years ago with the rank of Colonel. He was never married. He is survived by one brother, Sherman Lambright of Danville, Ill. The body was returned to Covington from Florida and is at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home here where friends may call Sunday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. The Rev. Donald Wade, pastor of the Covington Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Mt.
