Covington Ind Aug 8 – A telegram has been received from the War Department announcing the death in France of Clarence LaTourette who was killed in action on July 31.  He was 18 years old and enlisted in the regular army about two years ago. He was sent overseas last March. He was an ambulance driver in field hospital unit No 5. His parents are both dead. One brother, John Latourette, and an uncle, John Latourette, cashier of the Citizens Bank live here. - kbz
