LAWRENCE, Jennie Egan - L-Obituaries

Mrs. Jennie Lawrence, formerly Miss Jennie Egan of this city a daughter of the late John Egaan and sister of Will Egan who for years camped on the Wabash River two miles up that stream from Attica died in the St. Elizabeth hospital in Danville Ill at 6 o’clock Sunday evening. Death was caused by caner of which she had been a sufferer for months but she was not taken to the hospital until the day before her death. The mother of Mrs. Lawrence was a sister of the late John Bell of this city.  The deceased was 53 years old and is survived by the husband, Frank Lawrence, Mrs. Alice Wisert, Mrs. Kooch Wilson and Mrs. Walter Bulkley of this city are cousins of the deceased.  The funeral was conducted at 10 o’clock yesterday morning and burial was made at Danville. - kbz
