LAWTON, Bell Shultz - L-Obituaries

Newtown – Bell Lawton 93 of Newtown died at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday in Carmen Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. Born Jan 27, 1895, in Newtown, she had lived here all of her life. On Dec 20, 1916, she married George Lawton who was a farmer. He died Dec 18, 1987.  Mrs. Lawton was a member of Newtown Community Church and Quigle-Palin American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Glen (Hester) McClure of Newtown; Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Lee of Greenwood and Mrs. Oscar (Isabell) Sering of Crawfordsville
