Attica – Robert S. Leaf, 73 of 1083 E. Indiana 2, LaPorte died at 4:54 p.m. Saturday Dec 18 in LaPorte Hospital. Mr. Leaf worked at Allis Chalmers Corp 35 years, retiring as a machine operator. Born Aug 4, 1920 in Attica, he graduated from Attica HS and live din LaPorte for 50 years, moving there form Attica. He married Virginia Kidwell Chumley June 4 in LaPorte. She survives. Mr. Leaf was a member of First United Methodist Church in LaPorte. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Pamela Chumley of Covington and two stepsons, Chris Chumley of Indianapolis and Brian Polley of Covington. - kbz
