KINGMAN — Funeral services for Edward N. Lewis, 94-year-old former resident of this area, who died at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at the home of a son, Chaska Lewis, in Anderson, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Woodrow Funeral Home here. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs of Veedersburg officiated and burial was in the Harveysburg Cemetery. Mr. Lewis was born Sept. 16, 1870, near Kingman, the son ,of James J. and Lucinda Lewis. He was married in 1902 to Effie Robinson, who preceded him in death in 1929. He had resided near the Kingman community until 1950. Survivors include the son, at whose home he died; one daughter, Mrs. Uma McComthy of Anderson; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and several sisters. --typed by Walt W
