Covington – James W. Lewis, 86, native of Fountain County and long time resident here died at 5 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be at 2 pm. Wednesday at the Shelby Funeral Home with the Rev OW McGaughey officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery. Mr. Lewis was born Dec 29, 1859 son of Murphy and Myra Myers Lewis. He is survived by three brothers: Bert Lewis of Covington; Clarence Lewis, Terre Haute and Ira Lewis, Hoopeston. - kbz
