Mrs. Kate Lindley, wife of Lot
B. Lidnley, was found dead in bed Thursday morning. No cause is given bus the
supposition is that she suffered from an attack of heart failure. She had been,
so far as her family and friends know, enjoying good health and on the previous
evening had attended to the household work seeming in the best of spirits. At
what time in the night death occured will probably never be known. Her husband
arose Thursday morning and as is his custom after building the fires, went to
the room to awaken his wife when he found her cold in death. Mrs. Lindley was a
woman past 60 but was very active and looked much younger. Two grand children
and a husband survive her. Funeral services Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at
Harveysburg. – jlr
