Funeral services for John Samuel Little, age 79, a resident of Lafayette for the past 15 years and formerly of the Covington area, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, here at the Hegg Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Ashley officiated. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery. He died Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Ross Annex Nursing Home in Lafayette. Mr. Little had been ill one month. Born Nov. 22, 1883, in Veedersburg, he was the son of William Harrison and Laura M. Cornell Little. He was married in 1905 to Ella Redenbaugh. He was a retired lineman for the telephone company. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ray Pinto of Hackensack, N. J.; a nephew, Knight Little of Danville; and several cousins, including Ralph Little of this city. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. --typed by Walt W
