COVINGTON — Ruby Pearl Stembaugh, 81, Covington, died Thursday, May 25, 2006 in Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill. She was born May 31, 1924 in Fountain County, the daughter of Walter and Minnie (Beech) Sanders. She married William W. Stembaugh Feb. 24, 1959. He preceded in death Nov. 2, 1987. She was a homemaker and attended Yeddo Baptist Church. Survivors include: a son, Charles H. Sanders, Rileysburg; five grandchildren, Joseph Sanders, Rileysburg, Jennifer (Matthew) Boyer, Tangier, Tracy Clark, Judy Clark, and Billy Clark, all of Alamo; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and four brothers. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with the Rev. Tom Hunter officiating. Burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery, Veedersburg. – jlr
