Miss Etha M. Stephens, 73, who made her home with a niece, Mrs. TH Osterling, 1227 Logan Ave died in St. Elizabeth Hospital at 7 a.m. Monday. In failing health three years, she was a patient in the hospital two weeks. Born in Fountain County, she lived at Danville, Ill before moving to Lafayette 32 years ago to live in the Osterling home. She formerly was a practical nurse and worked in both Danville and Lafayette. She was a member of Congress Street Methodist Church. Surviving are two brothers, J. Edward Stephens of Danville and Clarence Stephens of Hammond. - kbz
