WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Sadie A. Stephens, 89, a former resident of 305 Midway, Williamsport, died at 3:40 p.m. yesterday (Feb. 3, 1969) at the Home Hospital in Lafayette. She had been a patient there six days and had been ill two years. Born July 22, 1879, in Warren County, she was the daughter of Henry A. and Sarah E. Crawford Haupt. She was married June 17, 1919, in Warren County to James Stephens, who died in 1967. Mrs. Stephens had been a housewife and her hobbies were gardening and poultry raising. She was a former member of the West Lebanon Christian Church. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Crowmer & Siddens Funeral Home in West Lebanon. The Rev. Kenneth Littleford will officiate. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. --typed by Walt W
