Williamsport, Ind. (CNS) -- Mrs. Viola Frances Stephens, 92, died yesterday (Dec. 26, 1968) at Marion Manor Nursing Home, Riverview, Mich., where she had been a patient several weeks. Mrs. Stephens was a resident of the Independence community, for about 30 years, before she moved to Romulus, Mich. in 1963 to live with a daughter, Mrs. Henry Limbright. She was born Sept. 14, 1874 in Illinois, a daughter of John and Mary Smart. She was preceded in death in 1948 by her husband, Walter. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Independence. Surviving besides Mrs. Limbright are four sons, Chester of Pine Village, Walter of Rushville, Thomas of Bell Gardens, Calif., and John of Veedersburg; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Crowmer-Siddens Mortuary in Williamsport where friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary with the Rev. Eldon Brown officiating. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.   -- typed by Walt W
