  Lucille D. Stetler of Attica, age 70, died Sunday afternoon, June 5, in Williamsport Community Hospital. She was born in Attica, October 6, 1912, the daughter of Jacob M. and Bertha Songer Fix. January 18, 1934, she married Charles A. Stetler, who survives. Mrs. Settler was a member of the Pine Village Free Methodist Church. She had lived in Fountain and Warren counties most of her life and prior to moving to Attica, she and her husband had farmed in Davis Township.

Also surviving are three daughters, Eleanor Hoover of West Lafayette, Janet Schmidt of Oxford and Ruth James of Monticello; four sons, Charles J. of Oxford, Norman W. of Templeton, Dennis R. of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Stephen L. of West Lafayette; two sisters, Louise McKenzie and Leota Johnson, both of Lafayette; two brothers, Leonard Fix of Williamsport and Lawrence Fix of RR 2, Attica; 21 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. James Rea officiating. Burial was in Armstrong Cemetery near Green Hill.
