WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (CNS) -- Ross Stitt, 87, of 3 Jackson Street in Williamsport died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday (March 20, 1976) at Williamsport Community Hospital, where he had been a patient since Feb. 1. Mr. Stitt had been a Williamsport resident since 1964. He was a retired farmer and had farmed in Jordan and Liberty townships. He was a former member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and the Warren County Farm Bureau. He was born Oct. 11, 1888 in Brown County, Ind., to David and Nora Phulps Stitt. He married Hazel E. Cole in 1913 in Warren County. She preceded him in death. Survivors include one daughter Mrs. Paul (Florence) Kaserman of Kokomo; three sons, Delbert of Williamsport, Bob of Attica and Harold of Kokomo; a half-sister, Mrs. William Miller of North Vernon, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Five brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport. The Rev. Don Green will officiate, and burial will be in Jordan Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.   --typed by Walt W
