Attica, Ind – Jackie D. Stonebraker, 65, 418 Baxter St, Attica died at 10:05 a.m. Thursday Aug 28, 2003 in the Regency Place in Lafayette.  Jackie was born in Veedersburg on April 4, 1938. He was the son of Charles A. and Edith M. Shirley Stonebraker. Jackie was raised in Veedersburg, graduating from VHS in 1957.  He has resided in Attica for over 25 years.  Mr. Stonebraker worked at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica for 42 years and at the time of his retirement he worked as a foreman for the Melt Department.  He also did carpentry work in the community.  Jackie was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Veedersburg. He was a member of the Coal Creek Gun Club and was an avid outdoors man enjoying hunting and fishing. On Sept 22, 2001 Jackie married Rosa M. McCloud in Williamsport. She survives.  Also surviving are two sons, Richard Stonebraker of Hayes, VA and Russell “Rusty” Stonebraker of Williamsport; a stepson, John Walls, Jr. of Attica; two stepdaughters, Rosa Lee (husband Gary) Adams in Michigan and Kristy L (husband Darren) Spivey of Attica; three brothers, Carl “Bud” (wife Sue) Stonebraker of Las Vegas Nev.  Larry Stonebraker of Covington and Charlie “Chuck” (wife Carol) Stonebraker of Veedersburg; three sisters, Izetta (husband Gordon) Douglas of Veedersburg; Beverly (husband “Dutch”) Keeling of Veedersburg and Eleanor (husband Oscar) West of Veedersburg; 8 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.  Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday Sept 1 at Maus Funeral Home in Attica; services: 11 a.m. Tuesday Sept 2 at the funeral home.  Officiating: Pastor David Adams; inurnment will follow at a later date in Rockfield Cemetery in Veedersburg. - kbz
