Carl Fred Storz, a transient who recently had resided in Attica was killed at 6:30 Monday evening when struck by a car driven by Pat Hayes, operator of an Attica hatchery. The accident occurred at a street intersection in Attica and it was thought both the pedestrian and the driver became confused as to which one should go first. Papers found in the deceased clothing revealed he had a son living in Lafayette. The body was removed to a Lafayette Funeral Home.
