YEDDO - Ross Stoup, 89, died at his home here Saturday afternoon. He was born in Cooper's Chapel Oct. 23, 1875, to John and Candace Cox Stoup. He was married to Maude Yetter April 6, 1901. She died in 1937. He was married to Josephine Corey in April, 1944. She died in 1958. He was a retired worker for the New York Central Railroad. Survivors include a grandson, Robert Stoup of near Bloomingdale; a sister, Mrs. Candace McKinney of Toledo, Ohio; a brother, Glenn of Swanton, Ohio, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and a sister. Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman. Pastor Lowell Barnard officiated. Burial was in Snoddy's Cemetery northwest of Cates. -- jlr
