Roy E. Stuart, 83, of Muncie, a former Fountain County resident, died Saturday (Feb. 6, 1971) at his home following a long illness. He was born Aug. 30, 1887. He married Katie Cooper in 1910, south of Hillsboro. He had resided in Veedersburg and was a farmer until moving to Muncie in 1938. Survivors include his widow; three sons, Marion of Muncie, Kenneth of Greens Fork and Ralph of Nabba, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Fowler of Albany and Mrs. Elmer (Dorothy) Curd of Muncie; a sister, Mrs. Guy Ludlow of Evanston, Ill.; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services Tuesday at the Southside Nazarene Church in Muncie, with the Rev. Walter B. Greek officiating. Burial in Elmridge Cemetery there. --typed by Walt W
