MELLOTT — Marion Louise (Blaesing) Stucker, 81, Route 1, Waynetown, died at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 1999 in Culver Union Hospital, Crawfordsville. She had been ill for the past two months. Born Dec. 21, 1917 in Muscatine, Iowa, she was the daughter of Paul and Gladys Sutton Blaesing. She married Thomas Arnold Stucker Nov. 26, 1936 in Detroit, Mich., who survives. She was raised and educated in Detroit, Mich., and had resided in the Mellott area since 1936. She relocated to Waynetown a few years ago. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Newtown and a former member of the Neighborhood Sewing Club. Survivors, besides her husband, include: daughters, Sharon (Rolland) Seymour, Veedersburg, Susan (Bob) Miller, Crawfordsville; son, Thomas A. Stucker Jr., Waynetown; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with Junior Haas officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. – jlr
