Benaldine “Ben” Swank, 71, died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, October 16, at her home in Waynetown. She was the mother of Charles Swank of Attica.
  She was born March 3, 1912 in Kokomo, the daughter of Fred and Florence Golt (Gott?) Suiters. On May 21, 1938, she married Clifford Swank, who survives.

  She had been an employee of the Waynetown Post Office and other local businesses. She graduated in 1932 from Waynetown High School. She was a member of Waynetown High School. She was a member of Waynetown United Methodist Church and attended services at Elmdale Community Church and a member of Crawfordsville Ladies of the Moose.

  Other survivors include another son, Jack Swank of Waynetown; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister.
  Services were conducted Tuesday at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Alan Johnson officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. -- s
