  Rev. Goldie Swank, 80, died at 12:15 p.m. Monday, January 11, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Pansy Delores White of Cayuga. She had lived with her daughter since August of 1981. Prior to that, she had lived on RR 3, Kingman for 40 years.
  She was an ordained minister of the Free Holiness Mission Church since 1947. She was active in the ministry for 35 years until illness forced her retirement. She had served as state superintendent of Lodi Mission Church and as a pastor of a Humrick, Illinois, church. She had also been employed at Elgin State Hospital in Elgin, Illinois and Radio Material Corporation in Attica.
  Born March 1, 1901, at Humrick, she was the daughter of William and Mary Catharine Stull Johnson. She married Nick Gastaldi in 1918, who preceded her in death. On April 15, 1924, she married Agruel J. “Mike” Swank, who died June 5, 1959.
  Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. LaVerne Mary Tague and Mrs. Elsie Pearl Sigler, both of Kingman, Mrs. Reilla June Craft and Mrs. White, both of Cayuga; three sisters, Pansy Holycross and Elsie Riley, both of Kingman, and Rev. Clara Vacketta of Cayuga; a brother, Carl Johnson of Humrick; 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and two grandchildren.   Services were Wednesday at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga with Rev. Gleason Hawn officiating. Burial was in Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, Illinois. – thanks so much to “S”
