Flossie Emma (Fink) Swanson, 90, of Rt. 4, Attica, died at 1:10 a.m., Friday, April 12, 1996 at Woodland Manor Nursing Center in Attica. She was born in Liberty Township, Warren County, January 1, 1906, the daughter of Charles Jacob and Mary Catherine (Liggett) Fink. She had lived in Hoopeston, Ill. and in Fountain Co. and in Warren County the past 62 years. She was married Dec. 5, 1925 in Attica to Roy M. Swanson, a farmer, who preceded her in death February 9, 1994. Mrs. Swanson was a homemaker. She was a member of Hickman Heights Christian Church and the Ladies Society of the Church. She enjoyed quilting, rug making and gardening. Surviving, are: three sons, Charles (Pat) Swanson of Eutaw, Ala., John M. (Donna) Swanson of rural Williamsport and Thomas (Carolyn) Swanson of rural Attica; two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Carolyn) Snider of rural Attica and Mrs. Norman (Mary Jane) Baer of Lafayette; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Visitation was Saturday at Fisher Funeral Home, Williamsport. Service there on Sunday with Rev. Mark P. Adams officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to Hickman Heights Christian Church. – jlr
