Lodi—Fred Taylor Sr., 88, died at 12:25 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 1973 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Bush of Lodi, Ind., with whom he had resided for six years.

Mr. Taylor was born May 11, 1885, in Danville, Ill., the son of Harvey and Ruth Wilson Taylor.

He had worked for Johnson and Johnson Co. in Chicago for 13 years. He had retired 18 years ago. He was married Dec. 27, 1903, to Margaret Francis Powers in Danville, who died Aug. 26, 1944.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mary Golden, Mrs. Ruth Beddow, Mrs. Adeline Beddow, all of Danville, and Mrs. Katherine Bush of Lodi; four sons, Fred of Danville, Harvey of Oaklawn, Ill., Roy of Burbank, Ill., and Harry of California; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga. Paul Ray officiated with burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Danville. – thanks to “S”
