dated 1965 ROSSVILLE, ILL. -- Funeral services for Quincy D. Teegarden, age 89 of Rossville, a native of Covington, Ind., who died at 6:50 a. m. Sunday, Sept. 19, at Lake View Memorial Hospital in Danville, were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Hamilton Funeral Home here. The Rev. Robert Teegarden, a grandson of Westville, Ill., officiated and burial was in Floral Hill Cemetery at Rossville. Mr. Teegarden was born in Covington Nov. 20, 1875, the son of David and Nancy Teegarden. He was married Oct. 1, 1900, at Chenyville to Kitty Mae Carl, who preceded him in death on July 5, 1918. He later was married on Jan. 20, 1920, at Veedersburg, to Maude Stoup, who also preceded him in death on May 21, 1954. Survivors include: one son, Hubest of Rossville; four daughters, Mrs. Pearl Odle of Marion, Ind., Mrs. Mamie Roby of Decatur, Mrs. Nina Hissong of Springfield and Mrs. Ruth Teegarden of Jacksonville; 14 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one son. --typed by Walt W
