VEEDERSBURG — Local residents have learned of the death of Mrs. Eva Thayer, 80, a former resident of Veedersburg. She died at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill., a few days after fracturing a leg in a fall at her home there. She had been in failing health for several years. Funeral services will be held at the Barrick and Son Funeral Home in Danville today at 1 p. m., with burial in Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg. --typed by Walt W
