Funeral services were held Friday for Mrs. Mattie Thompson
of Waynetown, who died of a heart attack at her home there on Wednesday. Mrs. Thompson, a sister of Mrs. Lena MeHarry, of New Richmond,
was well known about the Veedersburg community, having visited in this
section often. Mrs. Sue Shaw, another sister, of Crawfordsville, also
recently died.
