TINDER, Rose Drollonger

Mrs. Rose B. (sic - Viola) Tinder, well known pioneer county resident died Wednesday night (3 Jan 1945) at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arch Minick, north of Veedersburg.  Mrs. Tinder had been ill for several days having suffered a stroke of paralysis.

She was born September 30, 1859, the daughter of Samuel Drollinger.  She was married to Lewis Tinder who preceded her in death 23 years ago.

Surviving are two daughters, both of Veedersburg, Mrs. Ruby Robinson and Mrs. Ruth Williams; a son, Arlie of Villa Grove, Illinois; and one brother, Bert Drollinger of Yeddo.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the Scott's Prairie Church where she was a member with Rev. O.W. McGaughey officiating. The body will remain at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg until time for the service. Burial will be in the Bonebrake cemetery.   --- transcribed by kbz - provided by Betty D :)
