TINDER, William Homer

Bloomingdale – Willie Homer Tinder, 83, retired farmer of near Bloomingdale, died at 11:40 a.m. Thursday in the Parke County Nursing Home where he had been a patient more than 5 years. He was born Aug 21, 1886 in Fountain County, a son of Dave and Catherine McElwee Tinder. He was married Jan 28, 1912 to Irene Bott Marshall who preceded him in death Oct 2, 1960. He is survived by daughter, Mrs. Wilma Sadler of Rt. 1, Bloomingdale; a granddaughter, Virginia Sadler, Rt. 1, Bloomingdale; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence McMahon of Kingman, and 3 nieces. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Centennial Community Church with Rev. Marion Hutts officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 pm. Saturday t the Davies-Tudor Funeral Home at Marshall.
