Mrs. Lurenia Wright Tittle, 87, a resident of 922 Wakeley Dr. for five years, died at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 18, 1970) at Fontana Nursing Home in Urbana, where she had been a patient since Jan. 22. She had been in failing health six months. Mrs. Tittle was born Feb. 2, 1883, in Clay County, daughter of James and Barbara Jane Holeman Baity. Her schooling was obtained at Exenia. In 1904, she was married to Roy E. Wright at Ridge Farm. He died on Nov 10, 1918. Surviving from this marriage are a son, Everett W. Wright of Terre Haute, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Frazer of Terre Haute, Mrs. Albert (Frances) Block of Urbana, Mrs. James (Helen) Frantz of Urbana; six grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. In April, 1958, she was married to John Tittle in Covington, Ind. He died in July, 1960. Surviving from this marriage is a step-daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Thelma) Wamsley of Indianapolis, Ind. Also surviving is a brother, Perl Baity of Danville. Mrs. Tittle was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lucille; and several brothers and sisters. A member of the Xenia Methodist Church, she formerly attended Danville Senior Citizens Club. Her hobbies were quilting and sewing. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pape Memorial Home, with Dr. Richard Newhall officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
