Attica – Inez Lorene Tonquist, 70, of Hemet, Calif died April 6, 2007 in Hemet. Born July 26, 1936 in Cates, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Samuel and Lela Clodfelder Babb. She was a 1954 graduate of Kingman HS and formerly lived in Cates and Attica. She moved to Floria in 1984 and California in 1991. Her marriage was to John Tornquist on Nov 24, 1954 at Covington Assembly of God. He survives. Also surviving are daughter, Debra Hassani (husband: Seyyed); son, Scott Tornquist; one brother, Leon Babb of Covington and a sister, Eileen Smock of Loma Linda California. Graveside memorial services will be 1 p.m. Monday June 25, 207 at Mt., Hope Cemetery, Covington. Pastor Tom Hunter will officiate. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Amelia and Hillary Hassani, Megan and Nicholas Tornquist. A sister, Nadine Same preceded her in death. Shelby Funeral Home is assistant with local arrangements. - kbz
