TOWELL, Hardy

Hardy M. Towell, 72, of Danville, Ind., formerly of Kingman, died Monday, Dec. 5 at his winter home in McAllen, Tex., of a heart attack. He had entered a McAllen hospital three hours prior to his death.

  Mr. Towell was born in Kingman, the son of Joseph and Mary Marshall Towell. In 1910 he was married to Miss Irene Walker of Flint, Mich. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and Danville Commercial Club.

  Mr. Towell was graduated from Kingman High School and Central Normal College, Danville, and he taught commercial subjects there following his graduation. He spent several years in real estate and Danville State Bank but recently had been in the insurance business.

  Surviving are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Lanjahr of Lebanon; one brother, Harry Towell and one sister, Mrs. Lula Brown, both of Kingman.
