TOWELL, Mary Jane Lindley - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mary Jane Towell, 92 died Saturday at her home in Kingman following an illness of 3 years. Mrs. Towell, the oldest resident of that comm was a member of the Kingman Meth Church and Women's s organization of Christian service and life-long res of the county. She was born April 17, 1854 in Fountain County, daughter of  Isaac & Sarah Lindley and was married to Joseph Towell 11-2-1876 who preceded her in 1932. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Lulu Brown, Kingman two sons Harry, Kingman Hardy of Danville, Illinois 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Kingman Meth church with Rev. JE Porter officiating.  Interment at Fraternal cemetery.
