ATTICA — Bonnie M. (Neal) Trent, 82, 2814 E. 1400 N., Attica, died at 4:52 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette. She was born July 8, 1924 in Warren County, the daughter of Walter and Clara (Jackson) Neal. She married Philip J. W. Trent Feb. 3, 1945 in Attica. He survives. She graduated from Attica High School in 1942 and had lived in the Riverside area all of her life. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose #1482, Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles #2596 and the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. Post #3318, all of Attica. She was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing. Survivors, besides the husband, include: a daughter, Helen (Jerry) Myers, Attica; Philip “Bud” (Margie) Trent, Attica; two sisters, Margaret Schultz and Jean Perrigo, both of Attica; four grandchildren, Troy (Lisa) Myers, Todd (Lori) Myers, Tiffeny (Kerry) Synesael and Brittany (Jeff) Kyger, all of Attica; and six great-grandchildren, Kelton Trent, Brady Synesael, Brent Myers, Maci Kyger, Mya Kiger and Alexis Myers. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Paul, Robert and George Neal. Gravesite services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Salem Cemetery, east of Attica, with Pastor Greg McDonald officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
