Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Mrs. Lavonia A. Tribbett, 90, of 927 S. Perry, Attica, died Sunday (Aug. 15, 1971) at the Williamsport Community Hospital. She had been a patient five days. Born Oct. 25, 1880 in Kokomo, she was the daughter of Charles W. and Angeline Boswell Hudler. She was married to Marion Tribbett, who died Feb. 10, 1964. Mr. Tribett had been a farmer and they resided near Pine Village and in Boswell most of her life. She attended the Chennyville School near Hoopeston and was a member of the Pine Village Christian Church. She had resided in Attica for about 20 years. Survivors include a son, Leroy of Attica, three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Musetta) Protsman of Attica, Mrs. Lowell (Anna May) Balser of Williamsport Route 1 and Mrs. John (Oral) Kiger of Linden; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Morelle of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Otis Hooker of Williamsport; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A daughter, Jewell, also preceded her in death. Services Wednesday at the Dale Maus Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry C. Randolph officiated. Burial in Pine Village Cemetery.   --typed by Walt W
