Funeral services for C(harles) C Tribby, 87, who died unexpectedly of a heart ailment Thursday in the Scott Nursing Home Lafayette were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Crumley Funeral Home, Covington. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro .

Mr. Tribby was born 12 July 1858, in Kentucky, son of John and Mollie Tribby. At an early age he moved to New Richmond. About 50 years ago he married Flora Hatt of Mellott and spent most of his lifetime in this vicinity. Mr. Tribby owned and operated the Tribby Hotel for approximately 40 years. He was a distributor for the Commercial News for 17 years.

Surviving are a son, Edwin of Attica and three grandchildren.
