Crawfordsville, Ind., June 19—Robert Earl Turner, 16, of Lincoln Park, a Detroit Mich. suburb, was killed by a passing truck or automobile as he lay asleep along a highway 15 miles southwest of here early today. Frederick Kulich, 17, of Detroit, told Sheriff Harold Zeller and State Policeman James Gilliland that he and the Turner boy were hitchhiking from Detroit to Paducah, Ky., and they lay down along the highway last night to sleep.   Kulich said he was unaware his companion had been struck until he was awakened by a truck driver who found the body. The accident occurred on Road 47 near Waveland.-S
