Betty VanLieu, 60, RR 1, Bloomingdale, died at 2:47 p.m. Sunday oct 23, 1988 at her residence. Born March 26, 1928 in Clinton, she was the daughter of Thomas and Stella Trosper West. On December 29, 1950, she married George J. VanLieu, who died August 23, 1987. A retired cook, she was a member of Friends Union Church in Parke County.
Survivors include two daughters, Tracey Gray of Marshall and Amy Crippen of Bloomingdale; a son, Stephen VanLieu of Bloomingdale; two brothers, Jack West and Don West of Clinton; a sister, Iris Vorek of Clinton and four grandchildren.
Services will be cnoducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Butler FUneral Home in Rockville with Psator Ken Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton; visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
