Elpha L. Young, 91, of Crawfordsville died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Ben Hur Nursing Home where she was a resident. Mrs. Young was a homemaker. She graduated from Waynetown HS and was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church. She was born on August 26, 1906 to Truman and Maroa Martin Stockdale at Waynetown. She first married Homer Florey in 1929. He preceded her in death in 1929. She then married I.R. Young in 1960 and he preceded her in death in 1965. Survivors include a nephew, William Stockdale of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Stockdale. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Shoemaker Funeral Home of Waynetown with Archie Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
