YOUNG, Myrtle Lewis

Myrtle L. Young, 65, of 1413 W. Market St., was dead on arrival at Culver Hospital at 4:45 a.m. today after suffering an apparent heart attack. She had been employed by R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co. until her retirement. Born Oct. 22, 1909, at Perrysville, she was a daughter of Joseph and Cloe Teagarden Lewis. She was a graduate of Perrysville High School. She married Eldo Young on Oct. 17, 1930. He survives. Other survivors are three brothers, Russell Lewis of Covington, Harry Lewis of Portland, Ore., and Keith Lewis of Perrysville; and five sisters, Iris Rudy of Tampa, Fla., Helen Thomas of Bradenton, Fla., Carmen Phillips of Lafayette, Meredith Hollingsworth of Brownsburg and Sarah Congleton of Perrysville. Two sisters are deceased. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard F. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and until services on Friday.   -- jlr
