Mrs. Gretchen Inlow Youngblood, 72, of 432 Franklin died at her home yesterday afternoon, May 30 1967, after an illness of one year. She had resided at the Franklin address four years and in Danville 40 years. Born Oct 4, 1894 in Veedersburg, Ind she was a daughter of Arist and Myrtle Walker Inlow. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jeane Matthews of Birmingham AL and Miss Bettey Youngblood of Danville; a son, Harold of Danville; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Youngblood in 1959. Mrs. Youngblood was graduated from a high school in Arkansas. She was a member of Central Christian Church, Iris Chapter, Order of Eastern Star and Danville Senior Citizens Club. Her hobbies were cooking and raising flowers. Friends will be received at the Barick & Son Funeral Home Thursday and and Friday afternoon and nights. Services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Central Christian Church with Rev. Joe Detamore officiating. Order of ES services will follow regular services at the church. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services. Burial in Spring Hill Cmetery.
