Veedersburg – James Alfred Zachery, 52 of Rt 2, Veedersburg was dead on arrival at Community Hospital, Williamsport at 11:15 pm. Saturday. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack.  Mr. Zachery a native of lilly Dale, Tenn moved to Indiana 31 years ago. He resided in the Judyville community 25 years prior to moving to his present home a year and a half ago. He had been employed in maintenance at Harrison Steel since 1966. Prior he worked at the ASC office at Williamsport and also engaged in farming.  In 1938, he was married at Birds Town, Tenn to Ouida Thomas who survives. He was a member of the 76th Baptist Church at Albany, Ky. Surviving with the widow are three sons, Terry of West Lebanon; James and Mick of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Gweneth Keith of Indianapolis and Mrs. Jaquita Richardson of Springfield, Ohio; a brother, Joe of Albany Ky and two half sisters in Muncie.  - kbz
