NEWTOWN — Mrs. Lillian Zick, 66, a native of the Newtown area, died at 8 p.m. Sunday in the home of her brother, Monroe Schultz Jr., near Newtown. A resident of Newtown all of her life, she was born March 14, 1897, and her parents were Monroe and Alta Riffle Schultz. In 1920 she married Arthur Zick. He died Aug. 9, 1946. She was a member of the Newtown Methodist Church and an officer of Newtown Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was employed for the past several years in the Richland Township School cafeteria. Survivors include a son, Neil of Willard, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Robert Douglas of near Crawfordsville, and two brothers, Mr. Schultz of near Newtown and Frank Schultz of Cincinnati. The body was taken to the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro where funeral arrangements are pending.   --typed by Walt W

Newtown - Mrs. Lillian Zick, 66, of Newtown died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 8 p.m. Sunday while visiting a short time in the home here of her brother, Monroe Schultz. Born near here, she was married in 1920 to Arthur Zick who died in 1946 and worked in the cafeteria at Richland Township School.  She was a member of the Methodist Church and an officer in the local OES. Surviving also are a son, Neil of Willard, Ohio and her brother Frank of Cincinnati, and a sister Mrs. Robert Douglas of near Crawfordsville. - kbz
