COVINGTON — Word of the death of John Zielinski, a former Covington businessman, in California, has been received by local relatives and friends. According to the message, Mr. Zielinski's death occurred on Saturday, Oct. 7. Funeral services and burial were held in California on Tuesday, Oct. 10. Mr. Zielinski formerly owned and operated the Maple Corner Tavern. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Florence (Flo) Higbee of Covington and the father-in-law of Jack Keller of California, son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Keller of Covington. --typed by Walt W
