Louise F. Zook, 99, of Covington, died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2001 at the water of Covington. Born February 25, 1901 in Hoopeston, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late John Charles and Ernestine (Krueger) Steffensen. She married Herbert R. Zook on July 13, 1942. He died July 2, 1975. Surviving, are: a daughter, Dee (Delmar) Gerling of Covington; a son, William H. Lee, Jr. of Loveland, Colo.; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cleota (twin) Christine Lee; five brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Zook had been a resident of Covington since 1976 when she moved from Danville, Ill. She was a member of Covington United Methodist Church and Covington Senior Citizens. Visitation one hour prior to service on Friday at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with Pastor Paul Kent officiating.
