Waynetown April 18 – Mrs. Catherine Zuck, widow of J. Newton Zuck died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Welba Watson, 3 miles southwest of Waynetown Sunday night, following a few weeks illness results from paralysis. Mrs. Zuck was born near Newberry, Ind Sept 17, 1850 the daughter of Daniel and Susanne Slickard Shumaker. For seven years she was a resident of Crawfordsville but had spent the greater part of her married life in or near Waynetown. Mrs. Zuck was a member of the Lutheran Church. Those surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Welba Watson; one son, Ernest Zuck of Wallace; three grandchildren and one great grandchildren. One half sister, Mrs. Anna Nuget also survives. The funeral will be conducted from the home of the daughter Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock with the Rev. John Servies in charge. Burial will be made in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
