State Line—Frank Bahrns, 81, Route 2, Williamsport, died at 9:51 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 1989 at United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill.
  He was born Feb. 12, 1907 in Champaign, Ill., the son of William and Martha Schrader Bahrns. He was married Aug. 31, 1935 to Laura M. Brandenburg, who survives.
  He had been a resident of Warren County, north of State Line since 1921 and was a former resident of Sidney, Ill. He was a farmer all of his life and was a member of the State Line Christian Church.
  Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Carroll (Elsie) Brown, Catlin, Ill., and Mrs. Kenneth (Ruth) Kendrick, Route 2, Williamsport; a son, Ernest, Route 2, Williamsport; a sister, Edna Bahrns, Danville; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one grandson.
  Funeral services were at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with the Rev. Gerald Burt officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope. = s
