Hillsboro, Ind. - Simon Baity, 89, of Hillsboro died at 4:50 p.m. Friday (Nov. 25, 1966) at St. Joseph Hospital in Logansport, Ind. Mr. Baity had been ill for four weeks. Born Sept. 25, 1877 in Xenia, Ill., he was the son of James and Barbara Jane Baity. He was married in 1922 in Danville to Ada Cooper. Surviving are his widow, a sister, Renia Tittle of Danville and a brother, Perl Baity of Danville. Mr. Baity lived in Hillsboro for six years and also in Tangier. He retired in 1930 from the Sugar Creek Creamery in Danville where he was a shipping clerk. He was a member of the Undenominational Church of Hillsboro. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, Hillsboro, with Weldon Burgess and Luther Nussbaum officiating. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Ridgefarm, Ill. Friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
