Kingman, Ind. (CNS) - Mrs. Mabel Baker, 85, died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 29, 1973) at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. She had been a resident of Ben Hur Nursing Home for 10 months. Born in Vermilion County, Ill., Jan. 3, 1888, she was the daughter of James and Rebecca Lee See. She was married June 27, 1907, to William B. Baker, who died Nov. 30, 1947. Mrs. Baker was a 50 year member of Yeddo Eastern Star. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Nina Davies of Bloomingdale; two sons, Paul Baker of Kingman rural route and Eugene Baker of Crawfordsville route 3; three brothers, Robert See of Amarillo, Tex., Jewell See of Indianapolis and Thomas See of Attica; 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Woodrow Funeral Home. Burial will be at Harveysburg Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
